What would you prefer? 2 10" BL's ported with about 2.5 cu ft volume after displacement (2k watts total) or 1 15" BTL ported with 3 cu ft after displacement (about 2.5k watts). I wanna get loud, but not for competition and still save some room in my car. If 3 cu ft is to small for a 15, I could always put a 12" BTL back there. I just wanna get the most bang for my buck and still have ample room for storage.

Dodge Charger by the way...I gave up on SQ, realized its not really my thing.

Obviously you are only talking about subs which hardly are necessary in an SQ install. It comes down to your expectations and goals on your choice not what we think but what you want. Perhaps giving some directoin in that regard would be helpful.

Ran a 12" BTL in my buddys charger off a ZX2500.1... got pretty loud :D.

Looking for lots of SPL while saving as much room as possible

well, since you want hella loud, the BTL is definitely the woofer for you, one 12 or 15 ported would be perfect, the 15 would be a little louder obviously, and wouldn't take up too much space, maybe just over 3 cuft ported to, well if you like the real low notes then maybe 32 hz, 35 would make it a bit louder over a wider range though.

The problem is those are complete opposites, you need to define one or the other and then compromise.

depends on how much power he has planned. some of the loudest things going are in smaller packages. but they have crap tons of power, and generally sound like ass.

Sure wish someone would make a "magic" woofer that would sound like a BTL with the same output and only require 1 cuf ft of space after displacement, lol. I am lookin at somewhere around 3 cu ft, so I think the either the 12 or 15 BTL, I will have to debate just how much room I wanna lose. I might be able to put a 15 back there and still have enough room for some luggage, lol.

If 3 ft^3 includes the port and driver displacement, you need the 12. If you have 3 ft net after port and driver displacement, you can use a 15.

Thanks guys, I am gonna take some extra measurements and try to fit a 15 in there, I will also look a lot nicer and a single 12.

15 would be a bit louder, but you would get a lot bigger "wow" factor out of the 1 12", as in no one would believe you only have one 12.
