hello i have a quick question, ive seen the btl 15 has a xmax of 16 mm and the bl 15 is 21 mm so the bl shoud come out more than the btl how can the btl be louder then?? right now i have a bl15 fully loaded, whats the most power i can throw to it. i was thinking of a rockford fosgate t10001b is this a good amp or is there something close or same cheaper?

i think i read that the bl's can handle from like 1200-1400

If you are worried about the Xmax, just add the long coil and third magnet. I think it says that bumpes the Xmax of the BTL to 27mm?

Xmax is good to have, but the BTL has other differences. Higher BL force, more spiders, a higher 1 watt SPL and will handle a lot more power vs. the BL. If the enclosure is designed correctly, Xmax is only part of what makes a good woofer.

that fosgate amp is kick-ass, so is sundown audio, and us amps. fully loaded BL?? put at least 1500 on it, it will take 2000, and that fosgate would probably test around 1750.

How about a 2007 US Amps MD3D new in the box for $400 shipped? 2000 x 1 RMS @ 1 ohm.
