I just ordered a FI ssd 12 inch subwoofer, a Kicker zx750.1 amp, and 4 ga wire kit. I previously built a 4.0 cu ft box out of 3/4 mdf. I was wondering if the ssd would be alright in this box. Also how long would the port need to be if using 3" dia. pvc pipe so it is tuned to 33 hz? Thanks.

recommend Ported box: 1.8-2.5 cuft @ 33Hz i wouldnt go any bigger then 3cuft

When you get into the area of 4 cu ft boxes of that size are geared more towards larger subs like 15"s...

lol initialy i thought this was for a 15" from reading the title but to see it's set for a 12" haha, if you got the space try a t-line or bandpass. but you also need the skills and patience.
