I havnt blown anything just something i been wondering for some time. Are recone kits avalible for any of the drivers? If so what drivers have recone kits avalible?

Visitor does have a point. Given the pricing, folks may consider the MAW line to be disposable. Recone kits are about half the price of the driver but considering the driver has to be sent to me to be reconed, many find it is not worth it.

So recones arnt avalible for purchase? They must be sent in? And yes chad has a point, the prices are already low enough were buying a new driver wouldnt break the bank

the exception would probably be the spl 12. i would bet the recone price is around $100 on those;) and i must add.. i got my one in today, on limited power. WOW. REALLY considering buying a few more of em:D very impressive, to say the least. I guess, it would lso matter "where" the recones are coming from. if it comes from ssa shop (usa) it may be worth it. but if its straight from mark.. well, shipping from canada is a bitch:(

This is based on the assumption that folks want their drivers fixed. If all you want is the recone kit, the cost is roughly half the price of the driver plus shipping.

Hmmm this got me thinking, I wonder if a MAW12 recone kit will fit a MTX Thunder 8000 I have laying around. Both Have 2.5" coils, could you post the Inner Diameter and Outer Diameter of the MAW12 coils or PM me with them. Thank You
