December 28, 200717 yr Only thing weird that I saw was power to the battery bank. You used 10 (?) runs of 1/0awg to the first set of five batteries but then only used one 1/0awg jumper to get to the next two sets. You've got all that bandwidth so to speak, getting power to the bank but then you have a huge bottleneck jumping from row to row.
December 28, 200717 yr Author its changed now. ive got 2 runs of 1/0 running between each row of batteries. one on each end.
December 28, 200717 yr Author nice. When I first saw how thick that baffle was, I nearly crapped myself.yah the baffle is pretty SOLID
December 28, 200717 yr Author only reason its really that thick is because i needed to get rid of some cube of the box and i needed to lengthen the port which it did both for me but then decided to try something different and cut the large holes in the back plate and hopefully act more like a giant speaker pushing air back instead of 3 different speakers pushin air straight back. if that makes sense.
January 15, 200817 yr Author orderd my amps from jacob today. 3 sundown 3000d'ssundown 100.4sundown 100.2WOOT!!!!
January 18, 200817 yr Author woot the 100.4 and 100.2 came in today! fast shipping from jacob. A++++now its just time to wait on the 3000's.
January 28, 200817 yr If you would evenly distribute those wires that come back across the whole battery bank....you might be surprised at how much you'll gain! A jumper on each end just isn't enough.
April 3, 200817 yr Author whats your opinion on having the back of the van look something like this? not a complete drawing but a rough design.
April 3, 200817 yr that would look good. trim it to match the doors.i agree with the post by shavenranger. distribute the wires across all the banks, with extra jumpers on teh opposite ends. should help with voltage and looks.can't wait to see this with the sundownz in there!wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
April 3, 200817 yr Author i have jumpers on both ends. i just never updated a picture of it. did it before he ever said something haha. but good lookin out
