Hi I have been looking around at this Forum and now I find myself checking it each time im online. :lickscreen:

I've been looking at the Fi subs(very impressed btw) and im now very interested in a fully loaded 18" BTL.

Now if i were to run a Hifonics BXi 2607D would I need to get the dual2ohm BTL? and wire it in parallel?

Also what upgrades would I be looking at in my electrical system? (new alt, a few batterys)

I plan on taking out a backseat in my Ford Fusion for the BTL.

Any input would be greatly appreciated

Thanks and merry "late" Chrismas!

Yes, a dual 2 ohm BTL with that amp would be a nice setup.

With that amp, you could get away with a couple of nice batteries. Follow that with a HO alt and you should be good.

I ran 4000+ watts on (2) optimas under the hood and the stock alt for a long time. . .

Brian, Is that your new setup in your avatar?! How ya been? So that Lanzar's still runnin for ya? Some people have all the luck...the rest of us live through you :)

That Lanzar is long gone. I saw it for sale on caraudio.com not long ago. . .

I almost bought (4) Lanzar OPTI6000D's, but decided to run (4) IA 40.1's. With my setup, I am not sure which one would have been better, but the 40.1's were less $$$, and I know they are VERY reliable, so I went with them. I had (8) US Amps MD3D's for about a year, but sold them to buy the 40.1's.

Yes, that is my wall with (4) Loaded Fi BTL 15's.

Brian
