Just wanted some input and opinions !!

If you were going to design and build your own Subwoofers from a basic entry level to an elite SPL driver. What would be your main concerns ?

High BL ?

Great Heat Venting ?

Insane Power Handling ?

Light Moving Mass ?

High Sensitivity ?

Stiff Suspension ?

My main concern would depend on what I was building it for

For me, I'd look for accuracy...first and foremost. Use of shorting rings or other ways to lower inductance. I'd be willing to deal with somewhat larger enclosures. Insane power handling means jack to me because I don't want to be running that much power to the woofer anyway. 500W would tickle me just fine.

Keep in mind, there is a give and take with every aspect of a driver.
