Hi,

Ive got a MTX TA81001 amp that pushes 1500 watts at 1 ohm and im going to run a 15 inch Q. Do i need to get the BP option or will it be fine without it.

Im also wondering what a sealed q18 would sound like. would it be louder than a ported 15 or would I just be wasting my money. Thanks for your help.

Mine is a low end monster and sounds great,but doesn't like anything above 50hz. But thats my trade off I like to go low. Not to bad on output considering it's sealed and bounces my wipers a little. The 15 ported would no doubt have more output though. Eventually I want 1 more sealed. In the mean time Im going to put mine in a big ported box and see what happens
