i just picked up an extra 4ohm mj18 and i guess i will be throwing it into my tahoe....since i have a little room to play with i was wondering if one of you guys could please give a good box recommendation for this sub or is the standard 4.5 ported all i need....i would like to have the sub and port facing in the same direction because i just like that combo a lil better....thanks

? what do you mean? it should work fine how much room do you have?

i have enough room for the box i was just thinking something along the lines of 6-7ft.....i always thought 10+ boxes were for dd's and super woofers thats all....i didnt know the mach would hold up well in a box like that.

quit postin your wall pictures, it makes me jealous :( yea i got 20cubic feet for mine too ...but not in a wall and im not making the wall during the winter

I had mine in 3.25cf at 38hz, and it did add a bit more midbass while taking away some of the low end. I dont remember what the subs model like, but something big, like 4.5-6cf tuned to 32-35hz should work out pretty well.

i just went basic 4.5@30hz because i just wanted a quick build and it sounds good...now im going to throw a bigger amp on it and then i will throw a vid up.
