I know i would be underpowering two ssd's with 1200 watts, but what would be louder, the two SSD'd or one BL. Also, i could go with a single 18" or 15" BL... opinions??

and i can build a box for either setups(going ported), i drive a grand cherokee, should i face the subs up or to the rear?

If you have room for the 2 15" subs they will be louder but you could go with a single 18 and you would have adequate power for it... Just use flatwind coil and bp power... Or a single 18" BL... I always say go for the most displacement sub you can cause it keeps costs down...
