i need a box design for 2 18" btls. i have enough trunk space but where the port and subs would fire kinda confuse me. the dimesions of my trunk are 27x42x25. would that be enough to run 2 btls with port area? can you even run the btls sealed. i never see anyone talk about sealing them. please help cause i am tryna purchase these subs and keep it movin. hallelujah holla back.

I'm not too sure if you have that much room...and the enclosure would have to be built in the car..which honestly is going to be all custom work that you'll have to get a shop to do or do yourself...

it is fitting in a lincoln towncar. i have the space. i want to put the 2 18's in there. do u think they will be louder then my 4 15's (Kicker)? i just need to know if they will fit. can u give me a box design? if i cant fit the btls can u tell me something that will fit in my trunk with the space i have available. i NEED it to be as loud as my 4 kickers. i am thinking about going with 3 mtx 9500's because of the airspace needed to run fi's. i have 2 hifonics 2000 watt amps. i will do ALL NEEDED upgrades. u know ur sub lineup and what they are capable of. if u respond can u please respond to my question. u dont have a telephone number and i am ready to buy the subs. everyday i send something and u send me a response like u did is frustrating. it was no help at all and no suggestions.

Are the kickers sealed?? Do you have 13 ft^3 net after driver and port displacement, or is that 13 ft^3 gross including the driver and port displacement?

I run (4) 15" BTL's in 12 ft^3 after sub and port displacement. the actual box is 16.2 ft^3 gross area. It gets pretty darn loud. . .

they'll fit i had 2 SX's...how someone stole them btches is still a mystery too me

on another note

i jacked my box when i had it and made it too big therefore had to cut off the port and ran it sealed but it was hella loud.

so if u go ported im sure it'll still be nice

I think i got about 9-11cubes, dont really remember...

as far as it being louder than 4 15's...Thats a tough one..

especially if ur feeding them the same amount of power its a toss up...

to me at least, never heard 4 15's

I think we are taking care of this one on the other post, but with 13.7 cuft you can shoe horn a pair of 18s in there. Problem is simply getting the box in the trunk that is that large. As Nick mentioned it might need to be built in the trunk to take advantage of the space you have.
