Buying a Q18" recone kit?

I emailed Scott and he emailed back with the price for a Q18 D1 w/bp recone a few days ago but how do I buy it?

Is paypal the only way? I dont have paypal...

should take about 2 weeks.

they have to build the drop in recone, then they will ship it on certain ship dates(i think). after you order it you will get a UPS tracking number, don't get too excited and think it's already on it's way. that's just your ticket basically stating that your kit is in the process of building and will be shipped out soon. remember it can take up to a week in buisness days to build the recone before they ship it out.

Just found out my gf has Paypal so I just bought the recone kit. Had a few problems with Fi in the past so I really hope this goes smoothly!!!

Just build recones one day a week...looking 3-5 days to build it, and 3-5 days to it to get to your door depending on where you are at..

Recones are just 'extra' work...more of a 'thank you' instead of not doing recones at all and making people buy new subs :).

Yeah I guess so. Reconeable woofers is what sets all the great woofers apart from "normal" woofers. Shipping shouldn't take too long sence I live in Sacramento. I think my past woofers only took 3 days to recive them. Looking forward to the recone so I can hear my system with 2 18"s for the first time!

I have a question. So my woofer blew after about 10 mins of playing it at low volumes. I have owned many woofers and never blown a single one. From Audiobahn Eternals, 9500s to RE XXX. I have always had my gain set with a DMM and never used my Bass Boost after seeing an article on how bad it was on SMD.com. So it was very weird that it blew. So yesterday my mom started complaining for me to move the woofer (it was in the living room). I went and picked it up and heard a very faint rattle from inside the woofer. So I took it apart to see what it was and to get it ready for the recone. After taking out the cone, spider, and voice coil I found a little hard black mettle piece in the poll vent. I gave the woofer a shake with the piece in it and I heard the same rattling noise. The piece is very small

Scott's sick and i've been out of town / away from the computer building the new AA demo truck...shawn's been MIA for a while as well, as he has another full time job..

Is that a piece of metal down inside of the gap? Is there any way that you might beable to get it out and try to get a better pic of it?

Whatever it is we'll figure it out, if it is indeed a metal shaving yes that would have caused the coil to rub out and short, had it been on the pole piece or on the outside of the gap...

Thannks for replying back! Yes it is a piece of metal. I got it out but it took me a good 30 minutes. Every time I grabbed it with tweezers the magnet pulled it back or pulled the tweezers to the side. I didn

So I never got any info back on my emails I sent Fi, but Scott called my girl last Wednesday and she explained everything. So everything was figured out and Scott said my recone will be in my hands on Monday. My girl said he sounded hella sick! So hope he

Without Scott Fi's seems to be slacken!!!

If I don’t make this show, Fi products will never see the inside of my truck again
