I have a JBL BPx2200.1 it puts out 2200 watts at 4 ohms or 1 ohm. or it will do 1100 watts x 2 @ 2 ohm, $550 plus shipping or I have a Hifonics Brutus BXi2006 that put out 2000 watt @ 1 ohm, $260.00 plus shipping. Either one would push that sub like it deserves to be pushed.

Right now im debating on the sundown 1500d or the rockford fosgate T1500-1bd wich one would be a better option.???

I believe that amp only puts out about 800w rms

just cause it says 4000 watts does not mean its 4000 watts. if this your first time?

It really depends on which BL you got, dual 1 or dual 2? if dual 1 ohm, you need an amp that pushed full power at 2 ohms, if dual 2, you need an amp to push full power at 1 ohm, which in that case i would recommend the fosgate t1500bd, way underrated too, will push probably closer to 2500 watts.

So there are really two questions needed to be answered before you purchase an amp:

1.) what ohm configuration is the woofer

2.) how much power can the woofer handle?

well no but ive always owned rockford fosgate amps and i never had to worry about uprated watts,, i thought us amps was a good brand.. i guess i was wrong, so if anybody here know of good brands like a said close to the rockford fosgate T1500-1bd or better for the less or same price??

i wanna throw around 1500 to 1700 rms to my fully loaded bl15 the rockford T1500-1bd can do that but i need more options....

hey, i have a question...i was thinking about buying a 15" fully loaded BL and was wondering if my hifonics brutus BX1500D 1500 watts @ 1 ohm will be able to push it without any problems???
