I am just taking a poll as to the best all around daily use 12" sub. 500 watt to 1000 watt range. I am taking into account SPL, SQ, Build Quality and Price. The two that come to mind for me are.

RE Audio SE12

Fi Audio SSD12

You need to refine the order of importance of all around

if price were first, i would be going soundsplinter/mach 5.

if spl were first I would be going Sundown sd1-12, fi ssd, etc

no sub is ideal for every person its up to the person's ears and wallet.

The "perfect" sub to me is something in an 18"+ variety in infinite baffle that plays sub-sonic single hertz frequencies with ease and has a sharp roll off around 65hz.

Ok, let me rephrase my question, what sub should I buy if I only have $200 to $250 to spend I want it to get very loud but have a very realistic sound. But I dont want a sub that is cheaply built. Same question, different verbige.

I am not looking for the perfect sub. Just looking for opinions on an all around sub, with a good price tag.

There is no perfect, there is best suited for your needs.

The Fi Q and SSD's are very good, so is the Icon :D, Sound Splinter RL-p, Sundown SD-1v2, all built here in the USA, all backed by great people.
