Posted February 2, 200817 yr Sorry didn't see the Mach 5 forum. I put this in the speaker forum as well.Anyone tried these sealed? I don't want to take up a significant portion of the back of my Tahoe since I have baby things. So has anyone tried these sealed around the 2.5 to 3 cubes per sub range. Just so you know they won't have a ton of power on them. Just the sub channel on my Kicker ZX700.5? I'm trying to get something that is a louder and lower the JL12W3's in there now. I'm moving those to my Camaro.
February 3, 200817 yr Denim used one sealed. He liked its output. Viperoni also did a pair sealed. Perhaps they can chime in...
February 4, 200817 yr I would recommend going with 3cf, or even a bit more if you can.I understand that you have up to 6cf total to use for the sub(s)?
February 4, 200817 yr Admin If you can fit 3.0 cubes, that is where I feel is a good start. Your ear may like it a little smaller, or a little larger. Mine is an 8ohm version and I need a little larger to make the most of the power I have at 8 ohms.

The strongest in my arsenal is the 2500D, so if 2500approx @1, 1700@2, 1200@4, maybe 600@8.
February 5, 200817 yr Admin Can I have your 2500d? Sorry, the silver surfer stays with me. I will continue to keep an eye out for you.
