hey guys......i am looking into a new sub setup.......going too take it back to JL i believe this time....first off i have 2 zed audio miniliths......the subs im interested in are the 12w7 or 13w7......... the 13w7 is a dual 1.5 vc sub and the 12w7 is a singl voice coil 3ohm sub. ............ how would u all reccomend me wiring these subs and about how much power would i be getting in you alls reccomendations......thanks and could u all map out the reccom-mended wiring for the strapping or whatever......thanks guys

mini spec's:

Typical Continuous Output power into1 ohm 600wx1

Typical Continuous Output Power into 2 ohm 400wx1

Typical Continuous Output Power into 4 ohm 200wx1

Continuous Output Power 2 channels bridged into 2 ohm 1,200w x 1

Continuous Output Power 2 channels bridged into 4 ohm 800w x 1

Continuous Output Power 2 channels bridged into 8 ohm 400w x 1

I didn't realize you could strap the mini's. It would be a lot easier to use the DVC...be really, really, really sure that you set your gains extremely evenly. I would highly recommend an oscilloscope.

sorry yall didn't mean too say strapinh...meant bridging.....

You WOULD be strapping the amps together to make one channel. you misquoted the specs as well they are Typically 650Watts at 1 ohm and 1300 watts at 2 ohms "strapped" together. I believe that Steven calls them bridged but you would be hooking them together or "strapping" them together. I think the subwoofer choice is up to you and the sound you like from a speaker. Have a good night. Z

actually////// it depends on how you look at it with the power........i like too take the continuos stand point/////////

Continuous Output Power into 1 ohm 600wx1

Continuous Output Power into 2 ohm 400wx1

Continuous Output Power into 4 ohm 200wx1

Typical Continuous Output power into1 ohm 650wx1

Typical Continuous Output Power into 2 ohm 480wx1

Typical Continuous Output Power into 4 ohm 260wx1

so ZEDMAN is it safe too say they prob....really do a lil more rite....

According to Mr. Steven Mantz they are a little over typical output but not so much that you would ever hear an audible difference. I would say that they average 650rms but then again I am not an engineer who designs them for a living. Have an awesome night. Z
