I have an 2001 Cadillac Deville. I have a Rockford Fosgate T4001bd and am looking for subs. I have been really looking at the Fi Btl's and the RE MT's but not exactly sure what size i can get do to box size would really like to 18 as im trying to be as loud as possible and have heard good things about the 18" fi subs but not sure if the box would have tto be too big after looking at some oof meades builds but maybe some of you who have installed some setups like this could help. So i figured i would come here for advice.

No need to double post, one section is fine :)

no more people wont see it.

i like the BTL a single btl you would have space for

do you think it will hold the power or would i have to put lesss power to it.Also will i get good sound out of one I havent really ever heard too many really big single sub systems. I wanna make sure it will be able to take a beating cause the car is a daily driver

The single driver will handle the 4000 watts if you know what you are doing.

If you plan on driving around with it full volume all the time, (2) 15's will fit in the same airspace as a single 18 and will handle 2000 watts each all day long. . . .

I highly doubt i will be playing it at full volume all the time. I doubt my ears would handle that very well. But i do want to be able to be as loud as possible without worrying about blowing speakers all the time.

I would vote for a pair of BTL 15's if you can spare the extra cash. If not, the single 18 will get the job done. I have run multiple single 18 setups in my suburban and have never been disappointed.
