February 6, 200817 yr Waa aire yee Porting er too ??? looks like a great build so far !is the amp blocking the airflow from the port ?
February 6, 200817 yr ROFL @ monster capacitor!Should have spent the money that went into that on a better battery. You'd have much better results. And people wouldn't have laughed at you lol
February 6, 200817 yr Author I should of made more clear, the picture with everything on the back wall was my old setup, but reusing everything but the old ported box. The new box is sealed. The box in the picture was about .8ft^3 with a 3" wide, by 4" long port. The new box is around .95ft^3. The cap thing, i got that from a friend about a year ago, cant go wrong with free equipment. But laugh all you want, im gonna get a better batt when i get the money. I still need to get a new alt, gonna go with the irragi 220amp, plenty for the system that i have now, but i want the head room so i can go bigger in the future. In the doors i have a 5.25" Infinity Kapa 2 ways being powered off the HU. They need more power. The HU is only giving them about 17rms watts, they can handle a lot more than that.
February 7, 200817 yr Author All right, got everything installed yesterday. Got it metered at my local shop and hit 120, not as much as i was hoping, but not bad for one sub. Here is some more pictures and a video of it in action: bolted to the frame. Edited February 8, 200817 yr by blue86f150
