and inside is 20 inches high my bad

Your trunk has an internal volume of 15.24^3ft.

The 15" BL in a ported box wants about 4^3ft. You'll want to tune to 30hz to get that low bass you want.

I think you have enough space.

For amps, you may as well match it up with the Sundown SAZ-1500D. Make sure you get the Dual 2 ohm option on the BL to get the most out of the amp.

You definitely need to do the big three as well as beef up your under hood battery (get something bigger/better). After those improvements, see how your electrical is doing and then decide if you want to spend the money on a High output alternator.

I was able to fit my 4.0cu.^ft box for my 15 avalanche in my little camry's trunk so you should be fine.

I just went to the local car audio shop and they are gonna build me a custom box for $150. Will the sub be able to handle 3000 watts from the sundown amp ? How will i no what the box is tuned to since i havent ordered the sub and amp yet. And what gauge wire should i use any idea would be great

No, the BL will not be able to handle a 3000kW amp. You'd be better off stepping up to the BTL or stepping the amp down the the SAZ-1500D.

The shop that's building the box needs to build it to Fi's spec (which can be found on their website). If they're a good shop it'll be tuned correctly. HOWEVER, you should do your own research and design (or get help designing) and build your own box.

For either amp you go with you'll need a minimum of 1/0awg wire. For the 3000D you'll also need a Larger alternator under the hood and an extra battery.

Edited by timmc2006

Why did you order Dual 1 when you needed Dual2? Email [email protected] and see if you can get it changed.

Edit:

Scratch that, you told us earlier you were running the Sundown SAZ-1500D.. not the T1001BD.

You have the correct coils for that amp.
