Hello folks. I wanted to get some opinions on 8inch midbass drivers. I'm changing up the front end in my Dodge Durango. I will be running 4 Diamond Audio M6 4inch midranges and a pair of M&K softdome tweets. They will be actively passed at 250 up at 12db per/octave. One set of mids and the tweets will reside in custom pods on the front corners of the dash(tucked in between the dashboard, A-pillar, and windshield so they can be on-axis and facing the passengers) and the second set will reside in pods on the upper front corners of the front door panels. All will be laser aligned to a center point about a foot past the front seats. The midbasses will be located in the lower section of the front doors and will be powered by the two rear channels of a Kenwood Excelon KAC-X501F (the front channels will go to the parallelled midrange pairs) giving the midbasses 75rms(if run at 4ohms) or 150 per channel(if run at 2ohms). The midbasses will be actively passed from 60-250 at 12db per/octave. The sub is a TC3K 15 running off a Kenwood Excelon KAC-X401M. I have pictures of the current install in the "build log" thread under TC3k15 install pics. So there is the system design. Help me fill in the blank of midbass choice. Some initial thoughts I had were the Kicker 04SS8s, CDT Audio carbonfiber EF8s, Dayton Audio Reference series 8s, TangBand Neo 8s. Thanks!

Seas CA22's?

Aurum Cantus?

Lots of good choices out there :)

The Peerless seem to be gaining fans as of late, makes me interested. The Hybrid Audio 8 is an option, but I have not tried it yet.
