Since the X series has been discontinued, are you guys going to make another line of subs which take less power than the ssd's? i really want to pick up some X's but cant right at this moment.

It doesn't seem like the segment of the market that Fi is doing well with is that receptive to a lower-power sub, but maybe that'll change in the future...

lol... wait.. your telling me that thay stoped making a lower powered FI sub maybe cause theres not much market for it.... and your hoping that thay will make a NEW lower power level sub to NOT have a market?

Believe we've still got some X motors around...if you must have them ..other then that we've got no intentions of doing something along those lines...

Well, the fact that they brought out two drivers optimized for IB does say something...it'd be nice if there's more attention paid to the crowd that realizes that you don't need a kilowatt or more to have excellent subbass.

Fi does have a new line. IB line, made on demand iirc comes in only 15 or 18"

If you want something FI built with a lower price and power handeling look to the AA assassin. Basically a FI X.

Or try the Sundown SD1v2

i have read great things about the sundown subs. i think im gonna get one or two for my wrecker

Lol sorry, i was just wondering because i dont have the money or need to pump +1000 watts in my car. I've just heard taht Fi's are really good subs and was wondering if they were going to "revamp" the X. sorry if it was a dumb question. and thanks for the suggestions.

You could always put 500rms to a SSD. Im sure it wouldn't complain.

Especially in a lower-Qtc enclosure which would sound better IMO, anyway.
