Posted February 26, 200817 yr hey guys, ive been looking at the sooundsplinter rl i and i was wondering if i should go with the 8 or 10 in a 1993 chevy single cab silverado with a bench seat.
February 26, 200817 yr do you have room for the 10"? If so, and you want a bit more output, go for the 10".
February 26, 200817 yr Going to depend on your enclosure more than anything. There is no negative reason to getting the 10, other than it takes more space than the 8.
February 26, 200817 yr Author wow thanks for the fast reply. i think i will go with the 10. i used to have 2 12" memphis pr's in a sealed box that was around 2.5cuft.what would be a good box size for the 10" rl i? i would like to try a ported box for it if possible
February 26, 200817 yr Author would it be better to have it at 1.2cu ft? and could i use a round port instead of a slot or would it not sound as good
February 26, 200817 yr Admin As long as the round port is large enough, there should be no sound difference between it and a slotted port.
February 27, 200817 yr Author whats the reccomended size for a round port? im kinda new to box building
