Posted February 26, 200817 yr I must say, i have been to a few forums in that past week and this is by far my fav. Some how i ended up at Caraudio.com forum, well lets just say that forum is nothing but a bunch of flameing KIDS. Anyway i have been out of car audio for about 10 years and im trying to figure out what equipment is still hitting hard and whats new lol. Ok Im putting a system in a 07 Nissan Versa (small 4 door Hatch) and need some help. Im looking for a nice SQ system that can get a little loud also, I do not plan on any SPL competition. I need some recommendations on the list below that are undecided. Also any input on the equipment I already own. Are the Polks any good, Lanzars any good?... I listen to all types of music but metal (Disturbed, Rammstein, Metallica) is what I normally listen to, I also listen to rap. Yeah Im a mess lol. So what do you think I should get? Lets say I have a budget of about 2k for the undecided parts. February 26, 200817 yr Great first post! And welcome to SSA!You have a great budget to go off of. So for the best of the best...You could go with the ICON/Sundown Combo that SSA has in the store.http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/shop/in...p;productId=150And then for your Polks and Opti's the Sundown SAX-100.4http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/shop/in...mp;productId=35If you get a solid amp and sub stage, you can see how you like your current speakers with them. If they don't cut the mustard for you, you can always try something else.Your combined measurements for the sub box are 3.27402^3ft, more than enough room to work with for a 12" ICON (you'll want 1^3ft sealed). I recently helped on a 1cuft box for a 12".

Its a stock 110 amp alt. would i be able to run 3 amps (2 x SAE-1000D and a SAX-100.4). I do like what i see in the Sundown and ICON equipment.
