Posted February 29, 200817 yr Just placed an order for my 15" BLAnyone willing to help me with a box design?Trunk Dimensions Estimating: 36 x 36 x 18width = 36 in.length = 36 in.height = 18 in. Edited February 29, 200817 yr by lost
February 29, 200817 yr Author What would you like it ported to? And how much power are you running?I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to box specs, i tried to read and learn but its not clicking for me.Ported to 32-33htz idk how much of a difference between the two would be.Yet to buy and amp looking @ 1500RMS though
February 29, 200817 yr How big is the trunk opening? Can you actually get a 36 x 36 box in the trunk?I replied to your PM. . .You could do this:Just shy of 4 ft^336" wide x 18" tall x 17.5" deep16.5" x 3.5" port, 29.5" long. 32-33 Hz tuning.

March 3, 200817 yr If you did a pair of the precision port 4" flared ports, they would need to each be 14.5" long.If the sub and ports will face rearward, then the box needs to be at least 19.25" deep for rear port clearance. You could do 16.5" high x 30" wide x 20" deep with a 1.5" thick front baffle (external dimensions).
March 3, 200817 yr Author Sounds good.. but where can i buy theses ports from? you have a few websites for me Edited March 3, 200817 yr by lost
