Posted September 9, 200421 yr I feel bad for only giving it 600 watts right now until I find my new amp. Hunting a PPI a1200 or PC2350 badly for it.But damn does it still sound incredible with just 600.

I am currently feeding my mag 3kw from a tru H-1, and it loves iton a side note... nick, im sorry, but i unleashed the fury on the 15 tonight, and it took it like a champ!! my car shut off, but DAMN it was loud, i actually had my passenger ask to be let out of the vehicle

September 9, 200421 yr Author see all this talk of feeding the Mag alot of power is making me jealous. and why not the Orion, I wanna stick to PPI art or powerclass amps. I have many Powerclass amps and love them and a couple art series. So I know what to expect from them and they are great amps.

September 9, 200421 yr Author OK, so I no longer feel bad for my Mag, I know feel sorry for my right tweeter. I went and added some polyfil to my box today and was testing it out. Well I think I got a little carried away and may have blown my tweeter. It started to cut in and out and kinda crackle/scratchy noise. I turned it down immediatly and then turned off the sub to listen to it alone. at low levels (14/15 out of 35) it seems ok. but as soon as I turn it up to 18+ it starts to crackle and cut out again. So I am assuming I poped/blew the tweeter. am I right in thinking this or could something be going wrong with my crossover or amp??? I probably got careless and no am going to pay for it. but I have had it that loud before (I had it up to 26 out of 35).
September 9, 200421 yr lol, get some heavy duty tweets. Like the ones onthe front of the ice cream trucks, i have 2 if u wanna buy them , i then have 2 more that are like from stadiums, dont have an amp to push a high though.

September 10, 200421 yr Haha, 3k watts...cool. I love it when people ask to be let out of the vehicle. Newbies. Hoss's Explorer gave me hearing damage - never again will I sit in a vehicle like that and not have ear protection for ANY amount of time. Yes, it was really that loud! I know he was doing 150's just riding around Charlotte in the middle of the day.
