Looking at everything in the Acura now its looking like installing my gear would be a VERY bad idea........found out my alternator is only 90 amps.

Between the 100.4 Sundown amp and my Sundown 3000D I have a REALLY bad feeling it would do nothing but kill my electrical.

So now the hunt for a 200 amp (minimum) alt is on. Can I find one? Yes I can. BUT I have other things that take precedence over this, so..............just like the tint and an alarm its gonna have to wait.

Willing to take donations tho................. :)

Don't have to get one that big...could always get like 150a or 200a and pickup a D3100 :)

www.powermastermotorsports.com :)

They don't make one for mine............he says "they already have some killer output for their size"..............well I got room for a bigger case, and 90 amps ain't gonna cut it...............

I got an email in with Iraggi alts for a price................as for EA I gotta talk to them too.

www.mean-green.com no personal experience though.

I realize it's Arizona and all, but you can also remove the A/C compressor and add an alt down there.

You can also forgo power steering to accomplish the same goal.

I could drive my civic no problem without power steering.

its more the $$$$ than the whole finding one

how about getting it rewound? don't necessarily need to go to 200amps either, but i know around here, it's typicaly $1 an amp for a rewound one. could be a way to get the system in, save a bit of money for now and then of course grab one built to specs.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

I emailed EA and got a responce back the next day. I know for my ZX3 a 200 amp runs 375 from Irragi and 330 from EA plus I have heard of some bad dealing with Iraggi lately so I think I will give EA's a try.

yea, EA has a better customer service record than Iraggi

Casey, if u talk to them see what u can find out for me.
