Also do any of you guys know if the kicker 1500.1's can handle 16 volts?You could either run alternators with adjustable internal voltage regulators, or run external voltage regulators if you wanted to have the option of 16v charging. Either way your alternator on a 16v system should really be putting out more like 17v+ so it's keeping your batteries charged.I don't know if the kicker amps can handle it- you could contact customer support at kicker and they should know, but the sundown 1500s would be fine on it if you don't have the amps yet.
