Since this is really important to me, I need your guys advice.Just informational:Current setup:Lexus IS 220d with original HUD1 set Scan-Speak D2904-6000 tweeters1 set Rainbow Audio W175 Power midrange woofers2x SoundSplinter RL-p12 subwoofers2x JL Audio 1000/11x JL Audio 450/4Rockford Fosgate 3SIXTY.250F cap. from Lightning Strike AudioOptima Yellow Top battery...some other modifications.And the new layout...New setup:Lexus IS 220d with original HUD1 set CDT Audio ES-072iZ GOLD with custom tweeters1x Sundown Audio SAX-100.42x Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D2x Kinetik Audio HC1800 batteriesRockford Fosgate 3SIXTY.2...some other modifications.I was planning to go for 3 new Mag's from Stereo Integrity. But I am still looking at other options. One of those options, is 2x AA 15" Havoc's in a sealed enclosure. But that raises a few questions; I see mainly people here which use those subwoofers ported. But how do the 15" AA Havoc's sound in a sealed enclosure? And what is the minimum recommended sealed enclosure? I like the bass to be speedy (not sloppy), rarely missing notes, give a good punch and loud.

Therefor CDT and I adored my old CDT set, which I had in the past. So...Anyways; trunkspace is the biggest problem of them all. That's why my first choice was the new Mag (and 3 of them) in a sealed enclosure.I guess the Havoc's, especially the 15" ones, will be a bit to big for my trunk. :S

March 31, 200818 yr Author Cause I am using the original Lexus HUD and amplifier. If I work around the Lexus amplifier, I will lose a lot of controls. So therefor I will keep using the 3SIXTY.2.Downgrade? LOL, not really. I am not very fond of the JL Audio products anymore. The 3 amplifiers really disappointed me in performance. I was expecting far more from them. The Soundsplinter subwoofers are not what I need, they do not perform like I wanted and they really sounded muddy, sloppy. Tried everything; from ported to sealed and different enclosure sizes. They did not do what I wanted them to do (= playing perfect).Going to use the D2904 tweets in some other project, so not for sale.Trunk size is about 13.3 cu.ft. But that's without the 2 batteries and so on. So it's really pretty limited. Hehe.
April 1, 200818 yr Don't expect the new setup to sound better. Remember install is 90% of the game and there is no benefit in any of your new drivers, I personally would much prefer your old setup. And although I am a big fan of the Sundown stuff you cannot hear a difference between them and the JL's (of course set to the same power). My guess is there is something wrong with how you have the 360 dialed in.
April 3, 200818 yr A small sealed box is the optimal box according to AA's literature. I have yet to put a havoc in a sealed box personally.As far as choosing between the Mag and Havoc, that's kind of tough. Correct me if I'm wrong, but no too many people will have their hands on the new Mags quite yet. Even the exposure to the new Havocs is somewhat limited here (due to AA being a dealer based company). From what I've read and heard, the Mags will be in a similar market segment as the Havoc as an LSQ sub.If I were in your shoes, I would base my decisions on cost. You can be pretty sure both subs will get loud, sound good, take more power in excess of stated limits, provide a long service life. Bottom line, you'll be happy with either one. I think it is still safe to assume that SI hasn't changed their business goals and fundamentals.If depth is an issue, then I'd go with the Mag.
