Posted April 6, 200817 yr I know this is probably a stupid question to you guys but what is the purpose of it?
April 7, 200817 yr mostly to keep your car or truck from sounding like someone is in the trunk beating on it trying to get out when the bass hits..it kills ratles
April 7, 200817 yr It also removes road noise. What do you want to hear when you're listening to your music? I personally just want to hear my music and nothing else.
April 7, 200817 yr The best thing I have done to the car.Sure helps ear fatigue & driving comfort besides calming rattles.
April 7, 200817 yr Only two things that I am concerned with:1) Lowering the "noise floor" of the vehicle itself2) Improving the clarity and response of the drivers mounted in the doorAnd indeed those are the two biggest ways to make your stereo sound better and your whole driving experience more enjoyable.
