Posted April 25, 200817 yr Hello all. I'm not new to this board, I think I registered like 3 years ago, but haven't visited since August 2007 says my last login thingie. I just feel the need to pick a new online community since my "first love" of soundillusions.net/carstereos.org is down again. And so is forceaudio.com, though that one has never gotten much attention and only a very small core group. My reason for picking this board was highlighted by the fact that it was home to Stereo Integrity, but now I see they're moving to their own place. doh. Oh well, I'm still really just after staying somewhat up to date on new stuff and chatting with/getting to know folks. And this board has a ton fewer morons than those humongous forums, which I couldn't keep up with anyway since they have like 1000 new posts a day, which are half garbage that you just have to sift through anyway. I won't be buying anything new for the foreseeable future, and my SI D2 is still running strong and i have no plans to "upgrade" it. I'm happy and satisfied with what I have and I'm becoming less and less of a loud-music-in-the-car fanatic and more towards loud-music-in-the-home fanatic. Now I just need to save up my money for a down payment on house with a basement I can turn into a HT so that I don't bother the neighbors in my townhome (which I'm lucky in my position since our apartments are 4 in a row to a building, and I'm on the end with nobody in the second position on my side for the last year. So I have a "buffer" zone for the rest of my building's occupants )
April 25, 200817 yr Nice to see ya!Mike E. came over here and said that force is pretty much gone for good. No idea about CSO though. That site has been screwy ever since it went down the first time. It's bad timing when two of your most frequently visited forums go down within a week of each other. Well anyways again, nice to see you finally made it over
April 25, 200817 yr Author whew, this board is quite a bit faster than I thought. I've only been gone for like an hour but already like 20 new posts. I'll have to get used to that.
