Bout time I make a new thread! :)

I just got home from seeing one of the all time Blues Greats perform!

Buddy Guy!

He's one of the few real original bluesmen left, one that has influenced many of the great guitarists, won 5 Grammy's, and is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

He's 70 some years old now, and he's still got it! The man could easily out play most guitarists around today. (Those who know me, understand that I do not arbitrarily or blindly say things like this without good reason!)

I've been playing over 22 years, and it was completely awesome to finally see one of my guitar idols!

Freekin' Awesome Man!

and on that note...............

"You Damn Right I Got The Blues!!!!"

This reminds me, that I think Chuck Berry is playing the Virgin Festival.

Does he still play voo doo chile ? Listening to Buddy Guy play it shows exactly why Hendrix always credited him as being one of his idols. I have seen him several times . I was amazed every time. First time I saw him really freaked me out. I went to the blues festival down in raliegh NC expecting to see BB King, Etta James, and a few others. Half way through BB's set, he said he saw someone back stage that he wanted to sit in for a few songs. Then buddy walked out :)

Sounds like one hell of a show man!!!
