if so then how where they? of course as sundown site states the only place you should get them from is DB-r electronics i was just wondering if any one has ever tryed them and what was the condition of the amp if it was a refurb im just trying to see if i should go refurb and save some $$ that can be spent else where in the setup or should i just stick with buying the brand new amps :)

i have never bought a refurb 3000D but..i have bought quite a few other refurb products with good results, i bought one of my autotek mm4000.1D's refurb with no problems. I would trust DB-R they have a good name on the net.

Jacob would not make them the only company to do it if they were not very good at what they do. ;)

thanks for all the advice guys you all have been very helpful :)

Chris at dB-R is a great guy. He will work with you if anything goes wrong with your purchase.

:)

DB-r uses all original parts...so the refurb will have the exact same parts as a regular 3000D

Not only the original parts, but cruise the site and read about the processes that they follow for repairing whatever is needed. The methods that they use are proper. Read here. http://www.db-r.com/repairs/index.html A good part installed all wrong may work for a bit, but when installed properly, well you know...
