So second gear went out on my car yesterday, I had to drive about 30 miles up to the hood to the tranny shop and wait for a ride. Since the tranny shop was in the hood, I decided it would be a good idea to take the system out of the car; getting jacked would suck. I arrive back home later and see a skateboard resting on my subwoofer box. As I remove the skateboard I notice the T shaped crack right on the logo. I don't know if I did it, I don't know if the younger skateboarder in my family did it, but its damaged. I think I need one of those infamous "recones," but I'm not entirely sure. Anyone have any input on this? Stay tuned for the image below.

Nah you don't need a whole recone. You can put a new dustcap on it. You'll have to crack the rest of that one off and replace it with the new one, it will pop right down in the glue joint...
