I am purchasing 2 15" btl's fully loaded for SPL and i was wondering if it would be ok to power each one with a mtx 3000 watt amp (MTX TA92001).

probually doesnt push a true 3000 watts why not go with 2 sundown 3000d

You'll be good w/those. Were the birthsheets around 3600wrms each @1ohm?

You need to be smart with the gains and not clip the amp, otherwise, the BTL should handle that power with ease in the right box.
