In addition to being able to get very loud, Is the Q line of subs very musical?

What about closer to mid-bass? Can this sub play well into the 60 - 80hz range as well? (Althought, I'd have it cut-off fairly low, I'm curious)

Thanks!

I presume that it could. It is a sound quality woofer. It is very linear and has a decent amount of x-max. It's loud because it is efficient. anything above 60 hz isn't subwoofer territory though.

Yes!

A resounding yes, in fact. If I had to choose one subwoofer to complete my ride and never change it, it would be a Fi Q, or the AA Havoc (similar to Q, just 'bigger'). Although I will say I have not heard the new Icons yet but I continuously read some really great things about them, the SSA boys are definitely hot on the trail of Fi here!

I would check both drivers out if you're looking for something to get loud and sound good doing it!
