i allways tell rockers to get a 12.. or 2 10's cause to my ear thay tend to respond faster.

Cone size means very little for transient response.

Im not sayin I dont love some bump too, and im getting a 15' from a friend of mine for half price so I cant pass **** up. Does a 15 still have enough SQ for rock?

Cone size does not change a woofers sq (minutely due to increased cone mass but not enough to be audible.)

I have a 10'' Q in a sealed box and rock sounds soooo good. I imagine in the proper size box the 15'' would sound just has good... probably better. Just make sure you don't go cheap on an amp. I had a Kenwood on my Q for a little while which supposedly put out 900rms... yeah right. I put a Sundown 1000D on it at 2ohms (so about 600rms) and it sounded way way better and louder. You will be happy.

Im still not 100% sure what amp im getting. I mite go Kicker, Sundown, or Hifonics. Whichdo yall prefer?
