Ok here is my dillema I now have an old loaded btl 18 an lookin to get louder so, I'm thinkin of sellin this woofer an box and getting a new sub or set of subs an box what would you guys suggest. I have a saz3000d pushin it an it get pretty loud i hit a 147.1 at meca but want to break the 150 mark any input will be appreciated. I'm lookin at the dp 21 or a set of sundown 15 nightshades but willin to look at any brands just want to get louder.

Have you tried rebuilding your box? I'll bet most people could do better with that woofer and that power with a more efficient box design.

I would think if it is a Tahoe...you can hit a 150 easily especially with a 3000D.

With 2 Sundown 1500's on a single 12" I did a 151.3..out of a trunk no less..

It can be done.....It's all in your box preparation and box build.

I found that out building so many different boxes for my car....boxes make a world of difference. And I just happened to find a good combination that works. :)

Like John said....try a different box and different tuning...it can be done...

Little bit of sound deadening will help, trying a different port, and upping current supply to amplifier. :)
