What is the displacement of this sub? I heard .40 cubes others are saying .15

    The displacement on the 12" MT is .19 and I know the XXX is a tad smaller so I would say the .15 is pretty close.

    The XXX moves way more than the MT. That would make for the XXX having much more displacement than the MT. I wouldn't say as much as .40 cubic feet, but I would say around .25-.30 at least.

    Ok, here it is

    subwoofer cone area = 113 sq inches

    subwoofer excursion = 2.56" linear p-p (32 mm 1 way)

    multiply those 2 and get 289.28 cubic inches

    divide that by 1728 (cubic inches in a cubic foot) and get .167 cubic feet

    I think I have the calcs correct but not 100% positive.
