Ok so I'm looking for a receiver to power the ZDT 3.5s. it has to be 4ohm stable and I'd like a remote and prefer 80W/channel at least.

I have a Pioneer, it gets the job done.

but are the main speaker channels 4ohm stable?

Both of my yamaha receivers are 4 ohm stable, Yamaha makes great receivers,check them out, thanks... Brian

Do you really need a receiver? VA radio stations aren't that good

actually after looking i'm probably going to just go with an integrated amp. i wanted the receiver for switching radio/tv/dvd etc easily but nothing is meeting my needs and doing it well/cheaply. I'm not so lazy that i can't switch a pair of rca's when i want to listen to the radio.
