Whats up Everyone, Im new to this site, and hope to gain alot of knowledge from you all. I have a 2004 Escalde, and in trying to decide if i should go with 8 BTL 12s or 4 BTL 15s. I have two Soundstream 10000D amps, 8 kinetick 2400 batts, and a 2nd alternator for the additional batteries. I was running the solo x 18 but im ready to add more cone area and go for a different sound as well as move some serious air. Im not trying to build a wall tho. Ive been doing some reading and im hoping that these woofers will give me what i want. Any suggestions would be great appreciated..thanks in advance.

How much space are you willing to give up? If you allot 2.3^3ft per 12" BTL the final number comes to 17.6^3ft. Keep in mind you still need 12-16sq in of port per cubic foot.

If you go with the 15's, you need around 4^3ft per BTL, coming to 16^3ft. Use the same port recommendations.

im willing to loose the third row, with the set up i had before i had just over 13sq and i still have room to buid the box higher and longer
