Hey there!

I'm currently running an RD alpha 12 ported @ 33hz and running it on an RD 1750.1 amp. It gets loud, but its not quick enough in the fast stuff (i listen to some rock/techno, as well as rap/hiphop). Sooo i was looking at getting something different.

I've basically been comparing between all the "supersubs", which to me would be IDMAX 12, the new SI mag D2 (shipping soon), the JL W7 (way too overpriced and great but not amazing...). Anyways I know lots about the new SI and understand it will be an all out SQ sub, that happens to handle 1000wrms, so it'll be loud enough, but not amazingly loud. The IDMAX is a great overall sub... but i dont know much about the Fi. What would you say comparitively i would gain by going to an Fi ?? (are they louder/better SQ?)

Also, assuming i went with the Q, would you reccomend 2 12's or 1 15. I have 1750w @ 1 ohm to run them with. I'm assuming sealed for the best sound quality... and ported for the additional output. I'd say go ported if the tradeoff isn't so bad, but i'm kind of scared that i'd end up with something similar to what i already have.

Thanks for any help steering me into the right direction!! whatever i end up with, i know fishercustoms will hook me up with a sweet box for it!

btw, its going into a mid-size SUV.
