Yeap it's a zip tie around both knobs, both turn at the same time! Here's a vid of it

RobClay - I have a 200a alt with a SVR yellowtop (Specs same as Optima) under the hood. My voltage drops when I pump it. I think another Powermaster D1200 will fix that though, and maybe a MLA module.
