With the BTL being fully loaded and the HD being D2, which has the best ability to create the highest spl in a proper box with 2 Audioque 2200's

That is all in the install. But I am biased towards the BTL due to what I have seen in person that they are capable of.

HDC3 Copper coil are meant to be powered with an amp approx 2500w or less.

HDC3 Aluminum coil are meant meant to be powered with an amp at least 2500w or more.

Aluminum coil is not that musical, i cannot comment on the quality of Aluminum since i have never owned one before.

I do know that the HDC3s take 6kw burps from what i've been told. That may be the only high powered test out there though too. They might be able to take more, who knows.

Thanks for the input everybody. I haven't ever heard the aq or btl, and i haven't even found someone that owns the aq 18. so I guess the best comparison would be with the 15's.

Still the same opinions?

i'm not 100%, the 18 uses a totally separate basket, thats all i know.

But, like i've told someone else before, they wouldnt have brought out the 18 if it didnt perform like the rest.
