Ummm... [apple]+shift+3 to take a screen shot [apple]+shift+4 to give you a selectable cursor that allows you to choose anything on screen.

    It has been a few months since I have used my old G4, but I could have sworn there was a little program that can be used for screen shots, just forget what it is called. Capture maybe?
