I have a 12'' BL in a 2.25 or so cu. ft. box ported at 32 hz, and a Kicker ZX1000.1 running at 2 ohms and it doesnt seem loud enough, and i dont want to clip it to death.

im wondering if a different amp can help? its a fully loaded bl so im sure it can take 1500 rms, what do you guys suggest?

right now for electrical i have 1/0 for the amp and battery, ive done the wire upgrades for the grounding in the engine compartment, except for the alternator because of it being mounted by my chassis rather than near the hood. any suggestions there besides the alt positve wire?

Could try tuning your box higher. Try a 35-37hz tuning before you start blowing money on more watts.
