July 18, 200817 yr why would you buy an extra set of tweets?throwing random tweets everywhere improves imaging.I guess you guys didnt see that he asked a question about the tweeter manufacturer not if he should buy an extra set of tweets. No first hand experience, but I have heard those tweeters are pretty good. I do know that when clif designs first came out. I got to audition a few of there components and they were awesome. they seem to have cheapened up over the years, but I am basing that on the amps that they have come out with.
July 18, 200817 yr Author why would you buy an extra set of tweets?the component tweets will be flush mounted in the front doors and the other tweets will be installed in the factory dash locations....clif designs is a part of audiobahn?
July 18, 200817 yr Nothing I've heard from them has impressed me, so no, I wouldn't go with them.I'd rather have one set of large-format tweets in the dash locations from a reputable manufacturer such as Seas, Morel or Vifa.
July 18, 200817 yr i have a personal rule about dealers that sell at flea markets. But besides that, I have installed all kind of clif design junk over the past couple years. Not very fond of any of it. Drivers aren't the best sounding, amps are rated with ILS numbers. And those prices at sonic electronix are kind of up there.

I just thought about those clifs because those two items were their "best" speakers and they were within my price range... any other recommendations for 6.5" comps that are ~100rms for <$400?
July 19, 200817 yr Author alright let's change gears here....what about image dynamics? anybody actually run any of their components? I'm lookin at these---> http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseac...Product_ID=1173 . Anybody ever heard em before? Edited July 19, 200817 yr by hardballer7
