Posted July 19, 200817 yr HiiIm in the UK where Fi has just landed.Im changing over from 2 x 12" Re Mx's in a boot install to 2 x 18" Fi BL's fully loaded in a wall.As no one really has Fi yet in the Uk just wondering if anyone can answer my questions ?1. How do the subs play the lower octaves ?2. What kind of bass do they produce ? (DD slammy, Re wobble etc)3. What subs can they be compared to ? (so I can get a understanding of how they are)4. The SQ of the sub.I've already placed my order but was curious about the aforementioned points. Im after an all out streetbasser and each sub will have a Trutech Hammer H-1 powering it.Thanks in advance.
July 22, 200817 yr ive never owned one...however..read around on this forum and .......look on youtube(just in case)...and you will get everything answered easily.

What kind of bass do they produce ?(DD slammy, Re wobble etc) = it can create all of those types of "bass" given the right enclosure and install3. What subs can they be compared to ? (so I can get a understanding of how they are) = Can't really answer that, I don't know what subs you've heard in what type of enclosure and power.. But it can sound like most of the other subs given the right enclosure and install4. The SQ of the sub. = can be phenomenal or crap it will depend on the enclosure and install...did i mention that a sub is really only as good as the enclosure and install...i think you know what i'm getting at...Seriously they can play low, they can sound like a DD or an RE and they can have phenomenal SQ... It's gonna ll depend on your enclosure... Figure out what type of bass you want and design your enclosure to reproduce that bass...

You're going to need a big box, something along the lines of what I have in my profile picture(perfect for the BL 18"s). It may look different, but it's huge and heavy.
