how do i know my bl has cooling option

i just got my bl yesterday, brokerage was 65$ :s. i was just wondering how do i know if my bl has the cooling option on it. i thought the magnet was supposed to have a hole through it when it had cooling, but mine does'nt. is this bad or am i just misinformed? thx-phil

No, there is no pole vent on the BL. You can't see the 'cooling' because everything is machined on the inside of the motor where the coil lies to keep the coil cool..the only way you can see them is if you cut it apart.

You should see on your ups label it should be something to the extent of 12BLFL...or something of that nature.
