Posted July 27, 200817 yr Need a box designed for a Cerwin Vega Vmax 12.2500W RMS1000W Max. Cutout is 11.4" I am looking for a 30hz tune. Had one designed, and almost fully built, come to finish and subwoofer would not fit the front plate.

July 27, 200817 yr Author yah it was too tall, i used the Flash tool on here. Just looking for a new design, should i just make everything 2 inches taller or more and go with that?
July 28, 200817 yr what about adding another baffle on the front of the box to bring the sub out a little more? I assume the basket it hitting the MDF for the top/bottom? It may not look the best but you could build a bigger baffle to go on the front and that should give you the clearance for the basket to clear the second (original) baffle. if you don't want to build another box, that is. Or else put the sub on a different face.
