i am about to buy the aq2200d amp, and i am still wondering what subs i should get... 2 18in. bl's or 2 18in. q's. i know the q is for sq mainly and the bl is more for spl. i want what ever one will perform better on that amp. thanks

thanks! do you know if the bl is a lot louder than the q, and if the bl can hit the lows, because i like deep bass. lol

how loud is loud to you in dbs two 18 q's with that power should be easily capable of 145db if you have room for the right enclosure. i have a single 18q and have gotten 142.7db with a 28hz tuning so they will get loud and real low if you are looking for louder than that go bl but you will lose some low end.

Well im not so sure how low either of them can get, But i've read that the Qs get alot lower and that the BLs get louder then the Qs. But if your looking for Loud and Low then the Qs would be great.
